The five bikes set off from McDonald's M18 J1 at 10.05 hrs and, somewhat circuitously, meandered our way up through Hooton Roberts, Kilnhurst, Manvers and Dearne. Roads generally clean, dry and clear. A bit of dampness here and there but nothing untowards. |

| We joined the A19 just north of Donny and the pace picked up - round Selby - and into Sherburn-in-Elmet on the B1022. | ||

Joining the
queue I was devastated to learn they'd run out of Cornish Pasty like pies
! ! ! Oh well, warm baguette & chips
then.
Pete and
(wife - sorry, name escapes me Paul, you'll know) ordered food but, whilst
we all got ours, after MANY minutes had passed they were
asked to go
to the counter, only to be told they'd run out of whatever and would they
like owt else.
They
dutifully ordered an alternative and, just as we were all finishing ours,
theirs came.
Rather
hurriedly they gulped it down and we ventured over to the shop, some
bought bits, some didn't.

At around
14.30 hrs we set off for home and Jackie and I got back at 16.00 hrs.
For most of
the day we were bathed in sunshine - what more could you ask. A
great half-day out with yer mates. Brilliant. Cheers to all.
