Classic Bike Show

Stafford Classic Bike Show 04/08

5 Bikes with 6 Members turned out to visit the Classic Bike show at Stafford. We met up at Tesco's Abbeydale Road for 0800 with a 0830 depart. Keven (The Navigator) Ludlam out front leading the way with rest of us Paul, Stewart, Martin behind him with fingers crossed we didn't get lost too many times and Pete & Kate Marking the rear.
Normal start for the days out of late with the Three Shires, yes it was raining thou not heavily like normal. Kev, Paul, Stewart, Pete and Kate left Tesco's just after 0830 and got to top of the road to notice Martin coming to join us, thou he needed some Fuel (normally that is Pete's job). So we set of past Bakewell along the A515 amongst over roads made a pleasant ride down the Event thou the sandwich van that was supposed to be there to refuel Paul's belly was closed so had to settle with a suck on the dummy.
	The sun blessed us all when we arrived making it rather warm to walk about indoors to long in all the bike gear. Paul brought the Helmet that CMC Chesterfield donated to the Egg Run, to get Kork Ballington & Giacomo Agostini signatures on the helmet. and I must say Paul didn't fail us 6'5'' people moved out of the way as he made his way to the Super Stars
Food was served around 1200 with sandwiches, chips etc and the Cream and Apple turnover pictured and a text to all those who didn't make the ride out so they didn't feel so left out. (This is quickly becoming a tradition of some in the Three Shires) After a walk around and a purchase from the www.kozeee.com 4 sets of Battery Heated Biker Gloves and a pin badge we set off for the ride bike in the sunshine stopping at Matlock for an Ice cream or Cuppa before splitting up on route back before the Darkening clouds gathered As is Quickly becoming the Normal Yet another Great Day was had by all Next Ride out Nog's Mystery Tour.
