Three Shires Little Mice Are We (Cheese Run 07)

Three Shires Need a New Creed? "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these bikers from the swift completion of their appointed rides". With one of the coldest and wettest rides of the year, Three Shires members always turn out well for there Cheese. John, Richard, Keven, Tim, Kate (Jordan), Pete (Peter), Nog, Liz, Kate, Kev, Lisa and Paul taking the Picture. We met up from 0830 till 0900 and departed just after 0900 where Ski joined us just as we left the Blacksmiths and headed for the Cheese Shop in Hartington.
The Weather was Horrible as requested by Nog, spirits where high as we headed out for Hartington. Unfortunately Richards hands and legs had became very cold and wet by the time we reached Bakewell and he decided he should return home and departed the group.
There was a little hold up on route with someone forgetting that there bike requires fuel to run and a swift run to a Fuel Station was in order. We reached Hartington after carefully navigating some snow covered roads on the hill tops by around 1020. Where no time was spared in heading to the cheese shop to warm up and buy that all important cheese.
Once everyone had there cheese for Christmas we headed to the little cafe up the road where Warm Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate was in plentiful supply and so where the Cheese and bacon in Derbyshire oatcakes and Bread & Butter pudding with custard. Thou some opted for the Bread & Butter pudding then Full English followed by a few toasted teacakes. Got to keep the Carbs up in cold weather after all.
Once we had finished our food and drinks we headed back home in the Snow and rain with only a ooops they went right not left once. Thou in that weather it was an easy mistake to make. Great turn out with friends can't wait for the next one thou next time Nog please order fine weather not rain!!!.
